Canwi’s Ridge Base Camp

April 27-29

This is a Spring Camp designed to ramp up your mileage for the upcoming season and give you a boost for your training.  We  have battled over the years of where to have our spring camp and have bounced from Kamloops to Penticton in previous years.  While Kamloops and Penticton have great training areas we feel the training out here in Maple Ridge is great and the HUGE bonus is that most of us will not have to travel too far to get there, we can go home at night and sleep in our own beds!  Plus it keeps costs down and allows for an added trip up to the Okanagan later in the year.  Also for those lower mainland clients, you can learn where some great training routes are without traffic.  We are keeping the price of the camp to a minimum, but in doing so there will be no seminars offered (that is what our Half Ironman and Ironman Camps are for).  This is an opportunity to train with other like minded people, maybe meet people you can train with the rest of the year, and get some great long distance easy training in. Tara and I will be training alongside you during this camp (well we will be switching off from support vehicle) so there will be feedback from us during the training sessions and ample time for you to ask us questions during the weekend.  Please note:  This is not a hammer session, this is to get some good long distance EASY training in.  If you are hammering we will tell you to slow downJ
