2010 Oliver Half Ironman Camp
SCHEDULE
Friday May 14:

8:30-9am:                            Check In and Introductions

9am-1pm:                           Bike 2-4 hours out the backside of Oliver on quiet country roads .

Choice of long loop down the Wall, or Short loop that drops you back down to the highway.       

2:30-4:30pm:                      Run 1-2 hours

                                                Meet at Bel Air Motel

                                                Out and Back so you can turn around at anytime.

6:30-8:30 pm                      BBQ at Bel Air Motel

                                                Nutrition Talk (tentative on day and time)

                                                BYOB

Saturday May 15:            

8am-12pm:                         Bike 2-4 hours on Half Ironman Course.  One or Two loops

1-3pm:                                  Swim 30 minutes to 1 hour

Brief Lecture on open water swimming.

                                                Out and Back Swim………practice sighting on turnaround point.

                                                This will be a multi loop out and back or circuit

3-4 pm:                                 Run on the Half Ironman course out and back.

4-5pm:                                  Registration for Outback Olympic or Sprint Distance Race

5-6pm:                                  Pre-Race Meeting

7-9pm:                                  BBQ at Bel Air Motel

Sunday May 16:

7-8:30am:                            Get Ready To Race (Blue Seventy Tent will be set up for you to put your dry bags for after the race)We will be there to help you set your transition up.

8:30-11:30am:                    Race Start

12-1:30pm:                         Awards and Lunch (Meet at Blue Seventy Tent after the race)     

2pm:                                      Optional Easy ride to spin out the legs.

Not Included:

Bike Repairs (please bring bike in good order because we are a ways away from Penticton for bike repair)

Race Entry into the Olympic or Sprint race on the Sunday (please register on your own)

Breakfasts or lunches (please bring your own, most units have fridges and some have stoves)

Cost:

With Accommodation is $300.00

Without Accommodation is $225.00

 

**Spouses or boyfriend/girlfriend:  You will need to talk to me about this for just accommodation.

Refunds:  We are very lenient with payment , but once I have your confirmation you are coming through

Email, I am on the bubble for accommodation, therefore I will base my refund off the accommodation
