Wow, I was watching this race for 2010 to have a look at the course for hopefully a future race here.  Swim is nice lake, but was super choppy this year due to wind.  Bike is beautiful course, but unrelenting.  This is definitely a course I would recommend doing, but be prepared as it is tougher than it appears.  There is nowhere to get in a rhythm as there are lots of corners and turns and little steep poppers.  Not like canada where you get into a rhythm.  Run is also beautiful course.  Unfortunately the west has had horrible weather and the day turned hot around 32 degrees.  Our western athletes were vastly affected by this.  3 pro's I know dropped out and I saw tons of people walking.  Congrats to eric, gord and rachael for finishing an extremely tough day.
